Also called "yellowfin tuna", this imposing fish is caught in the Pacific Ocean and then freshly transported to La Maison Nordique workshops where it will be traditionally smoked in beech wood by our smoking masters.
A delicious alternative to smoked salmon, the thin slices of Albacore tuna blend perfectly with many recipes. They are appreciated with a dash of olive oil in carpaccio as well as in a bagel, and they offer to taste their red-brown flesh, almost translucent, which will crack gently under your teeth.
